Panix is looking for a support person who is (or will become) capable of participating in policy decisions and overseeing other staff.
Technical requirements are familiarity with Unix and with standard client applications (to help users via phone and email). We are looking for a self-starter who can write clearly and correctly and is good at explaining things.
The job is in our NYC office, a couple of blocks from Penn Station. Our office hours are 10am-6pm Monday through Friday. The salary is commensurate with experience and expertise, in the $45k-$60k range.
